• Question: Why do you work for Tyndall?

      I have a job in Tyndall as a Research Engineer. I work for Tyndall because it is an awesome place to work for Engineers and Researchers.
      I work for Tyndall because the work in Tyndall fits in very well with the research and development I want to do as part of my career.
      In Tyndall , apart from doing research, I also get to know about the latest things that are happening in the industry as we work mainly on projects from the industry. Tyndall lets me control my own time. I can invest time here to learn many new things and I am supported by my supervisors. We have fun events all around the year and I have met a lot of interesting people.

    Because I love light and in Tyndall I am working on photonics, that is the portion of physics that studies everything concerning light. I am designing circuits (similar to electronic circuits) where inside of them you have light pulses travelling and interacting. In this way, we can realize devices that can work at the speed of light like super fast sensors or modems. In Tyndall you can find the most interesting mix of academic high skilled people and industry partners working together to boost our world to the next level, really inspiring!
