I grew up in Dublin with one brother and one sister. Now I live in Galway with a friend from Spain. I speak a bit of Spanish, French and Irish. I like surfing and spending time in nature. I like to travel and have been to a lot of amazing places. I travelled to India to teach English & Maths to children in Kolkata. My favourite food is cheese, especially Brie! I like to meditate and practice yoga to help me relax. I am training to be a yoga teacher.
-
My Work: I am a scientist in a lab that tests chemicals. These chemicals go into making devices that help people with heart problems. The devices we make unblock blood vessels and keep people's hearts pumping.

I work for a medical device company in Galway that help to improve the lives of patients all around the world. We make products that help people with heart problems, diabetes, lung problems and nerve problems. I test chemicals that go into products for the heart, like tiny balloons that help to unblock blood vessels and pacemakers that help keep people’s hearts beating. Before I worked here I was in university, looking at new antibiotics to help people with bacterial infections to feel better.
-
My Typical Day: Usually, I test chemicals in the lab to make sure they are safe to put into our products to help patients with heart problems.
